2024-08-01 Emergent CT suspected sigmoid colon perforation, but actual perforation site was distal ileum when explored. Perforation site was gangrenous and mesenteric abscess was noted. So resection was wider than expected, including further resection over the small bowel proximal and distal to perforation site.
